"Cannabis Republic is a play on the fact that Cannabis is the real #1 crop in California! The Dogon African tribe's tradition states a fish head God came down in a spaceship from the "2 dog star" Sirius & it's white drawf. He brought them the Cannabis plant. Cana = dog Bis = 2 = 2 dog star. The dogon were taught the stars & their charts highlighted the drarf star which wasn't seen by our scientist till hundreds of yrs. later. Canvas also comes from Cannabis. We add a star to our Cannabis Republic flag to celebrate the Dogon People & God.
